Grappler Tom Maenurm, whose career we have been following, has recently won his biggest victory yet.
Competing for Team Scardovelli in the -77kg professional division at the ADCC Italy 12th Nationals 2018 on June 3 in Rimini, he captured first place, winning both of his matches by submission.
He wrote us that “The first one I won by RNC [rear naked choke] at 1 minute and 20 seconds. In the finals I won in 21 seconds by inside heel hook and got the prize for the best submission of the event.”
He added, “I would like to thank my teammates that help me get better every day and congratulate with them because some of them also won gold, others got silver and bronze at this ADCC event.
“Now I can’t wait to go to Estonia, my country, to train with the 3D Treening guys (they are the best) at Estonian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu summer camp July 19-22!!”
