“Reckless Abandon” was an apt title to KOTC’s February 2ndshow at the San Manuel Casino in Highland, CA as both title fights wereexciting if lacking technical prowess. No word is currently available on when this show will be broadcast as apay-per-view.

Marvin Garcia is an aggressive wrecking ball of a fighter but for the firstfour rounds Frank Baca managed to outmaneuver Garcia en route to a unanimousdecision in the main event.  Baca in now14-1 and is on a nine-fight win streak with his sole loss being for the 125-poundtitle against Mamoru Yamaguchi two years ago.

In the co-main event Tony Lopez defended his heavyweight title by absorbing thepunishment dished out by Rob Jackson until the opportunity for a head kick forthe KO presented itself.  Lopez hit arocky spot in his record last year picking up losses in JMMAS and Fight Timebut is now on a five-win streak over the past four months.
