The 2010 NAAFS Season Takes Off on January 30th
Familiar Names and Fresh Faces Set for Action Inside the NAAFS Cage

The 2010 National Amateur Series takes off on Saturday January 30th fromChapparell’s Community Center in Akron, OH; when the NAAFS proudly presentsMidwest Combat Challenge 10. The NAAFS Nation will be treated to a night ofnail biting MMA action featuring some new names as well as many familiar facesreturning to the NAAFS cage.

In a featured bout, Akron’s own Russ Halsey (5-4) of Pain Headquarters returnsto the NAAFS cage at Midwest Combat Challenge 10, where he will square offagainst Team Titan’s Dalton Moss (5-1) in a National Amateur Lightweight bout.This will be the first time Halsey makes the cut to 155, no doubt looking tomake a sharp run in 2010. Moss enters this fight looking to spoiler his returnand to show the NAAFS Nation why he is considered by many to be one of the topprospects to keep an eye on in 2010.

Instigator Fight Team’s Jeff Hughes (3-1) will be competing at Midwest CombatChallenge 10 against Ryan Walls (3-1) of Central Block MMA in a bout that willhave early implications on the 2010 National Amateur Heavyweight Division. Inaddition, the undefeated Chad Hensley (3-0) of Team Titan takes on Evolve MMA’s”Super” Mario Micale (3-2) in a National Amateur Bantamweight fight.Plus John Stallings (4-0) of Pain Headquarters puts his undefeated record onthe line against Michael “Taco” Cardona (6-5) in a National AmateurWelterweight division fight.

Midwest Combat Challenge 10 will see many more familiar names in actionincluding “Drucifer” Dru Schottenheimer (3-3) taking on KJ Hanna(4-4), two National Amateur Women’s bouts, and the return of undefeated fighterNick Kilian (5-0) to the NAAFS cage!
