All 18 competitors made weight for tonight’s IFL on Friday as the scene is set for New Blood – New Battles. This event will feature three title fights as Ryan Shultz will try and make it six in a row as he defends his IFL Lightweight Title against Deividas Taurosevicius who defeated Bart Palaszewski by armbar in his last fight. After being submitted by Tim Kennedy almost a year ago, Ryan McGivern has put two wins in a row and will battle for the IFL Middleweight Title against Dan Miller who hasn’t lost a contest since 2006. The big boys will also come out and play as UFC veteran Brad Imes will take on Big Country Roy Nelson. Imes will have to be better than his last fight as he will try to take away a title in his IFL debut. Nelson, on the other hand, has been on a roll winning six out of his last seven fights. His last loss came by the way of split-decision against Ben Rothwell in April of 2007. This show will also be the debut of Team Bomb Squad. Here is a look at the card with the official weights.
