World ReMix tournament hosted by Smack Girl is continuing into the semi-finals bouts in April 25th show at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo Japan. Undefeated Megumi Fujii would take on Seo Hee Ham from Korea. Seo Hee took current Smack Girl champion Yuka Tsuji to a decision in the title fight held on Dec. 26th 2007 so this fight between Seo Hee and Megumi can be a good yardstick to measure how good is Yuka. Many critics believe Megumi is far better than Yuka considering how Megumi has been fighting world’s bests in a tougher MMA rules than Smack Girl rules.
Another semi-final bout is going to be Lisa Ward vs. Michelli Tavares. The opponents for two semi-finalists for the open-weight tournament, Hitomi Akano and Etsuko Emoto, will be announced soon. Smack Girl is planning on booking two non-Japanese fighters for this semi-final bouts.
