This was the first year of activity in Italy of the ADCC: through the great support of ADCC Europe and the hard work of ADCC Italy staff, a concrete and succesfull calendar of events has been organized during the 2006/2007 season.
The beginning was in October with the Opening ADCC Italy tournement having as special guest Lubomir Guedjev, who coordinated the referee staff of the event and leaded a referee seminar. After this, in November, the ADCC Italy training camp with Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro.
In November also started the first ADCC Italian National Championship: 6 tournements all across Italy to crown the best italian Submission Fighters!
ADCC is really growing up in Europe and Italy is strongly a part of it…special thanks for the big success of this season to Marko Leisten, Lubomir Guedjev and Peter Ivanov for their great support! Thanks to all ADCC Italy staff and to all fighters, trainers and promoters who support our work with great heart and passion, making our sport everyday bigger!
