The long awaited debut of Global Fighting Championships is now close at hand. Before 16 modern day gladiators step into Mixed Martial Arts battles on August 17 at Mohegan Sun Arena, they will participate in the official Global FC Weigh-In and Press Conference this Thursday evening at 5pm EST. The event, taking place at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office will be open to the press and public. This will be a great opportunity to watch the fighters square off one final time before meeting each other in the ring on Friday. The weigh-In / Press Conference is also a perfect chance to interview the fighters and take photos.
Once again, the star studded Global FC debut the following night brings many of the world’s greatest fighters to the East Coast for the first time. The card will feature 8 high-profile bouts including The Global FC Middleweight Championship between Edwin “Babyface” Dewees and Mavrick “The Soul Collector” Harvey and a Global FC Heavyweight Championship war featuring Jeff “The Snowman” Monson and Chris Guillen. Super Heavyweight phenom Butterbean, former WWE Wrestler Sean O’Haire and the legendary Mark Kerr will also be in action.
