The ADCC committee wants to notify all Brazilian competitors that the so-called ?Brazilian Confederation of Submission ADCC? is not an official branch of the ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championships nor has it ANY connections with ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championships.’The federation was formed without our approval and does not have the sanctioning of our event, nor can hold trials or qualify ANY fighters to our tournament’.In the past Mr. Paulo Zorello was the Brazilian organizer for the 2003 ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championships and conducted the trials for the 2005, however, the relationship between ADCC and Mr. Zorello has ended. Furthermore, Mr. Rogerio Gravazza and Wagner Gomes hold no official ties to ADCC. The trials held in Rio de Janeiro were not sanctioned by our committee and were done without our permission; therefore the trials recently held in Rio de Janeiro hold no official value as far as ADCC Committee is concerned.Look for official announcements on the ADCC news page in relation to OFFICIAL ADCC trials in Brazil.
