With Pablo Lima and Rafael Werneck The undefeated Paulao Filho is ready to ADCC-2005. Few days away from the most important submission competition of the world the Brazilian Top Team black belt is making his last adjustments to compete at the Pyramid, on May 28th and 29th. Paulao?s flight to Los Angeles is scheduled to Wednesday but he took a little time to talk to us about his expectations regarding to the upcoming event. ?Fabricio Werdum, Marcio Pe de Pano, Gabriel Napao and Jeff Monson are some of the guys I might face in my weight category. I rather do not fight any of them at the first round. I prefer someone who is not so famous and after that I will be ready to beat anybody?, says Paulao. Very confident, Paulao sees the 6th Submission Wrestling Worlds Championships as the perfect opportunity to keep his name in people?s mind. ?We can only proof our true value by facing the tough ones. That is what I did when I defeated Amar Suloev (at Bushido 6) and that is what I?m going to do at ADCC-2005?, states the fighter. Paulao Filho made a short evaluation about Pride GP next round. He considered his BTT fellows Rogerio Minotouro Nogueira and Ricardo Arona as the strongest names to get the champion?s belt. ?Wanderlei Silva seems to be out of his best shape. Arona defeated Dean Lister and is about to face a Sakuraba out of his time. Minotouro has a difficult challenge against Mauricio Shogun, but if he makes thru this round he will be very confident. I bet in a GP decision between Arona and Minotouro, but if it is not possible will be a final round between two Brazilian fighters, that is for sure!? concludes Paulao Filho.
