With Rafael WerneckBack in Brazil after his last UFC appearance, when Tito Ortiz defeated him by a split decision, Vitor Belfort rushed right from the airport to the hospital. The reason was not any damage caused by the ‘Huntington Beach Bad Boy’, but the birth of his first child, Davi, with his wife, the model and TV host Joana Prado. Davi was born on February 6th, one day after the fight against Ortiz. ‘It is great to hold him in my arms. He will definitely be a future champion, even if he doesn’t choose a fighting career’ repeated Vitor to several TV channels, all reporting on Davi?s birth. Joana was also very happy, and she declared new hope for the family ‘I hope Davi brings a little more happiness to this family, which is suffering so much since Priscila?s disappearance’ says Vitor?s wife. Priscila Belfort has been missing since January 9th of 2004. After his last fight on the UFC contract, Vitor is still deciding what he is going to do in the future. According to him, his agents will study the best offer and as a professional fighter he will chose the right one carefully. However, he told us what he thinks is going happen at the UFC 52 main fight between Chuck Liddell and the light heavyweight champion Randy Couture, scheduled for April 16th. ‘It is impossible to say who is going to win. They are both tough fighters, they train really hard and I think is going to be a great fight’ predicts Belfort.
