Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Submission Grappling TournamentSaturday, April 23, 2005Morton High School6915 Grand Avenue – Hammond, IndianaCHICAGO, IL – The Chicago land area has been a hotbed for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling over the past 5 years. The competitors for this sport have been exponentially increasing each year and the competition has become more and more talented. The promoter of the most popular Midwest NHB show, ?THE IRONHEART CROWN? has recognized this growth and has answered back by hosting a new BJJ/Submission Wrestling Tournament called CORRAL?S COMBAGE CLASSECO (C3 for short). In the same tradition of The Ironheart Crown, this event will strive to operate under the same professionalism making each event better than the last. Hosting both Gi and No-Gi competition for men, women, and juveniles. Competitors that pre-register receive a discount off the door price and a free event t-shirt. All competitors that are pre-registered will appear on a list available on the C3 website so everyone can see who is currently competing in what bracket. All competitors in C3 will also be ranked. Unlike any other tournament currently using this ranking system, C3 will score competitors based on the amount of points they and their competitor currently have and adjusts the winner?s points accordingly. Competitors will receive a bonus point towards their ranking for each opponent they submit. The C3 website will contain the top ranked competitors in each bracket for the nation to see.A Professional No-Gi 8-man bracket will be included in C3 that will have a minimum prize purse of $1000.
