1st Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Meeting from Charles Gracie Me and my brother Ralph, would like to invite all Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belts professors and instructors to join us at the 1st Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Meting, to be held on February 20, 2005 at the Marriott Long Beach, 4700 Airport Plaza Dr. Long Beach, CA 90815 at 2:00 PM The purpose of this meting is to create an ‘ Official Entity ‘ to help us organize and set new standards for the practice of this sport and to spread the benefits of BJJ, a martial arts that require neither force nor violence. An entity with an objective to organize and have an updated information about qualified instructors, academies and Jiu-Jitsu regulations making sure that Jiu-Jitsu practitioners have that proper and qualified instruction. Other important topics for this meting will be: setting an official calendar for tournaments, creation of referee clinics, reevaluating rules, creation of a national rank of Jiu-Jitsu competitors.
