A Super exciting and sensational Black Belts day just ended closing the Worlds2012. Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida was the name of the event with spectacularperformances including another come from behind victory, this time in theabsolute division finals against Leo Nogueira. Down by 2 points with less than15 seconds to go, Marcus was able to score a takedown and an advantage from themount (time ran out before the 3 seconds necessary to secure the full points)and win the barn burner! In the ladies it was Gabi Garcia again taking theweight and absolute to secure her spot as top female fighter in the World onceagain.
Alliance team won an unprecedented 7th World title!!!
