The largest BJJ event of the year is less than 5 days away and all the names are in! The list reads like the who’s who of BJJ with very few tops missing. The list of tops is so long it is amazing, suffice it to say that there are many, many World and Pan Champions. Alliance team alone signed up 340 athletes for this event. Notables of course are Andre Galvao, Gui and Rafa Mendes, Bruno Malfacine (who is fighting feather now same as Gui Mendes) , Caio Terra, Bernardo Pitel, Joe Capizzi, Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles, Mike Fowler, Justin Rader, Lucas Lepri, Romulo Barral, Zach Maxwell, JT Torres, Claudio Calasans, Clark, Kayron and Kron Gracie, Vitor Estima, Abmar Barbosa, Lucas Leite, Bernardo Farias, Roberto “Tussa” and many more (there are so many I know I missed a few notables) .
In the ladies Super Champions Gabi Garcia and Hannette Staack, along with Luana Alzuguir, Bia Mesquita and Emily Wetzel. The masters and seniors have former World Champions galore, including one notable “new” presence: the return of Gracie Magazine’s Luca Atalla to the competition mats!
