The long-time feud Kazushi Sakuraba and the Gracie family will continue atDream 14. Headlining the card will be a 194-pound catchweight fight betweenSakuraba and Ralek Gracie.

This will be Sakuraba’s sixth fight against a Graice and the fifth different memberof the family that he has fought. He has previously fought Royler, Renzo, Ryanand Royce (twice). Sakuraba’s record against the family stands at 5-1.

Ralek’s father is Rorion Gracie, one of the original founders of the UFC. Hehas two fought under MMA rules. In 2007, he scored an armbar victory overprofessional wrestler Katsuyori Shibata. He returned almost a year later andpicked up another armbar victory over Alavutdin Gadjiev at Dream 4.

Despite probably being best suited for middleweight, Sakuraba has spent most ofhis career competing at either light heavyweight or heavyweight. Besides fivedifferent Gracies, he has also faced tons of top names in the sport. He hasfought against Wanderlei Silva, Mirko Filipovic, Quinton Jackson, Antonio RogerioNogueira and Guy Mezger just to name a few. After dropping back-to-back fightsin 2008, he returned in 2009 and picked up a pair of submission victories overprofessional boxer Rubin Williams and Zelg Galesic.

Dream 14 will be the promotion’s second show inside their “white cage.” A fewother fights have been announced for the event including Nick Diaz againstHayato Sakurai and Hideo Tokoro against “Wicky” Akiyo Nishiura.
