Seems to be a stellar year for the featherweight division as the Saitama Super Arena will play host to the "little guys."

The March 8th DREAM event is picking up!  The grand prix will be broadcast in the United States on HDNet and released a list of several names entering the 16-man tournament.

Masakazu Imanari
"Wicky" Akiyo Nishiura
Atsushi Yamamoto
Takafumi Otsuka
Hideo Tokoro
Hiroyuki Takaya
DJ Taiki Hata/Shoji Maruyama
Jong Man Kim
Bibiano Fernandes (fought Faber and Yamamoto with great performances)
Chase Beebe
Joe Warren (outstanding Greco Roman wrestler)
Micah Miller (brother of Cole Miller)

Kid Yamamoto is absent from the list but will more than likely take part.  Strong rumor that the field may be 15 instead of 16 and he would get a first round bye.

Yamamoto is still recovering from a pretty hefty knee injury which could be the reason he’s absent from the first round.

The remaining slots are being pursued by Darren Uyenoyama, Kazayuki Miyata, Junya Kudo, and Takeshi Yamazaki, as well as of course Kid Yamamoto.
