On December 14th we had our 4th Belt Ceremony and end of the year Celebration at The Wander Braga BJJ Academy. We had 29 new belt promotions- 20 blue belts, 2 purple belts, 4 brown belts and 3 black belts and over 50 students were promoted with stripes.
Promoted to Black Belt Level were: Mafu Kobus, Marc Burns and Rudy Fishmann
Attending hte cerimonies were Black Belts:

Scott Dewitt – Jean-Jacques Machado
Jimmy Tang – Jean-Jacques Machado
Also present was Valerie Worthington- New Breed Academy Brown Belt
They were all impressed by the ceremony and sense of family among all your students. They wanted me to thank you again for allowing them to attend and being such a warm host.
And thanks from me too! They are all important figures in my bjj journey so far and very good friends, so it meant a lot to me for them
to be there for it.
Luis Palhares Promotion
There is a new Black Belt at E-town BJJ and Judo. Dave "Mac" McMaster has put in 11 years of hard work training, teaching, and representing Jiu-Jitsu in the most honorable way. Sunday, December 14th Professor Luiz Palhares promoted Mac at our school here in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Mac is a great person and will carry the flag of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu forward in a respectful and honorable way!!! Kentucky now has over 10 fine black belts representing the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!!!
