This past Saturday, Kid Peligro was a guest o the North Shore BJJ belt promotions cerimony. Led by Kai Garcia, Marcelo "Dentinho" and Jeff Doner, the combined group cmprising of students from the Boars Nest, Gracie North Shore and North Shore BJJ Academies received their due promotions. Beisdes the great atmosphere and the momen of watching students receiving their new belts, the noteworthy promoions of lontime practitioners Leif Robinson and Vitor Marcel to Black Belts.

Alliance Team continues to Rip
Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti is all smiles as he heard the news from the General Fabio gurgel about alliance’s latest conquests. The team conquered the Capital Challenge, an event in Brasilia that was graced with teh presence of the King of Jordan. THe challenge is the qualifier for a bigger event to be held in Jordan later this year. Super star Sergio Moraes and Michael Langhi closed out the light weight and divided the $6K combined prize for champion and runner-up! Gabriel Vella took the Heavy weight division.
"Jacare" continues his travels being in Cleveland followed by his upcoming Charlotte seminar. Then onto Houston, ElPasso etc. For more info check out their site. Meanwhile "Cobrinha is in South Korea ministering classes and doing seminars. Lastly Romero celebrated his 56th birthday and the future looks good as he has maintained the same passion that he had some 40 years ago when he started with teh legendary Rolls Gracie. Cogratulations to the team and the leaders!
