Rashad Evans made the most noise on Saturday night as he knocked out former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Chuck Liddell with a devastating right hand in the second round. After not much action in the first round, Evans appeared to be gaining confidence in the second and made Liddell come to him. Liddell tried one of his trademark upper cuts but Evans came crashing down with a fast right hand. Liddell was out and out cold. Although it appeared that the UFC was looking to match-up Liddell and UFC light-heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin, Evans stated he was a patient man after his biggest victory and didn’t bother to call out the champion. In other action, Rich Franklin and Matt Hamill fought like friends and Franklin finally put Hamill away in the third with a liver kick. And Dan Henderson finally got back on the UFC winning track as he out-pointed the dangerous jiu-jitsu expert Rousimar Palhares. Here are the official results from the last night.
