EMIRATES BJJ TEAM GO TO BRASIL

Under the patronage of SHEIKH ZAYED BIN MOHAMAD BIN ZAYED AL NAHYAN,

The Emirates Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Team and the Head Coach Carlos Santos are once again on the move. The team is sending 6 Emirates Team local members and 1 coach to train in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for 2 months. In that period, the team will be training at the Brazilian Top Team Club, one of the 5 top fight clubs in the world, and competing in some Brazilian local tournaments.

Carlos says: "I believe in these 2 months of Jiu-Jitsu immersion in Brazil they will learn the same as they would in a whole year here in the UAE. They will have a full time contact with Jiu-Jitsu and as well they will be training with lots of different coaches and players, learning different stiles and improving their techniques. I hope that this camping will became more common after this first experience and we can send more players to do the same in a near future. "

Carlos continues: "I also owe a big thanks to H.H. SHEIKH MOHAMAD BIN ZAYED AL NAHYAN, H.H. SHEIKH TAHNOUN BIN ZAYED AL NAHYAN and LT. GENERAL MOHAMAD HILAL AL KAABI for all the support given to the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in UAE.

Fighters going to Brazil: Ali Al Mansoori, Mohamed Al Menhali, Majid Al Naqbi, Hammad Al Dhuhouri, Bader Al Senani, Abdulla Al Shamisi, and the coach Carlos Santos.
