Hardcore Championship Fighting (HCF) terminated Pride and HCF vet Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos from his contract citing Santos’ acceptance of a fight on March 5th as violation of HCF’s contract. Cyborg was scheduled to fight David “the Crow” Loiseau in the main event of HCF’s March 29th. Instead Loiseau will face Todd Gouwenberg of Revolution Fight Team.
Gouwenberg is coming off a loss in HCF 3 a month ago but it was to former Pride champion Antonio Regerio Nogueira. Before that Todd had three wins in Bodog and a 3-1 record in TKO. Todd is known as a strong striker and promising up-and-comer who matches well against UFC Loiseau and his devastating close range game.
