2007 Worlds – Absolute Champion steps up the training
If you thought things are too quiet for the upcoming Worlds, think again. Fighters everywhere are hard at work getting ready for the Big Event. Want proof? Defending World Absolute Champion Xande Ribeiro is on his way to Oklahoma City, Ok. to sharpen his game with teammate Rafael Lovato Jr. Lovato recently won the Brazilian National Titles and wants to gain his first World Gold as a Black Belt while Xande is ready to defend his title against challengers like Roger Gracie, Robert Drysdale, Braulio Estima, Andre Galvao and a host of others.

This year "America’s Favorite Tournament" will take place October 20 and 21, 2007 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium.

The competition is open to men and women of all belts in the following divisions:
Junior (16-17 years) White and Blue Belts
Adult (18 years and up) White, Blue, Purple, Brown and Black Belts
Master (30 years and up) White, Blue, Purple, Brown and Black Belts
Payment and Fees
The fee for early registration, i.e., received by 11:59pm Thursday October 11th, is $65.00. The fee for late registration (received by Oct. 15th 11:59PM) will be $80.00. We will not accept registration received after midnight, October 15th. Period. Those of you who have come to our tournaments before know that we make NO EXCEPTIONS! Please, have your registration in on time.

Fabio Gurgel Joins the Fracas at the MTL League in Brazil
Fabio Gurgel is now one of the coaches at the new MTL professional fight league in Brazil. The league is formed in the molds of the IFL an already has Murilo Bustamante. Wanderlei Silva, Pedro Rizzo and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira amongst others, as coaches.
