LAS VEGAS, NEV. – USA Wrestling completed its first U.S. World Grappling Team Trials at the Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday. This event determined the U.S. team which will compete in the first World Grappling Championships in Antalya, Turkey in September 2007.

Grappler’s Edge:
At 92 kg/202.5 lbs.,Malcolm Havens (Grappler’s Edge) stopped Matt Horwich (Team Quest), 4-1. Horwich competes for the Portland Wolfpack of the International Fight League (IFL).
At 55 kg/121 lbs., Felicia Oh (JJ Machado/BJMUTA) scored a submission at 2:35 with an arm triangle over Bahar Shahidi (Grappler’s Edge). Oh placed 2nd at the 2007 ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championships.
