Pat Miletich showed why he is still a great trainer by leading his Silverbacks to another IFL World Team Championship over Matt Lindland?s Wolfpack. Mike Ciesnolevicz got the action started with a submission victory over Aaron Stark. Then the heavyweights took the stage and Ben Rothwell stretched the Silverbacks? lead to 2-0 after dismantling Devin Cole. In climatic fashion, Bart Palaszewski sealed the deal with knock out over Ryan Schultz in the third and final round. Two more fights were left and the only matter relevant was for the Wolfpack to avoid a sweep. After Matt Horwich lost a unanimous decision to Ryan McGivern, Chris Wilson came through with the lone Wolfpack victor y, a TKO over Rory Markham in the first. In the main event, Renzo Gracie still showed he can fight by winning a split decision over Carlos Newton. Gracie?s record improves to 2-0 in the IFL after defeating Pat Miletich by guillotine choke in September.
