However, the anticipated return of heavyweight Brian Olsen taking on tough newcomer Bryan Vetell, never materialized. Here is what the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board (NJSACB) told ADCC News in regards to Olsen not fighting: ?Brian (Olsen) needed to renew his license. He did not fax in a renewal application.Brian needed to submit routine medical test results needed for license renewal (like every other fighter) but he did not. (i.e. Eye, EKG, HIV, Hep C, Physical) in addition, we had advised the promoter and then Brian that we needed medical records or a letter from the treating or lead physician regarding the post-Kyle (fight) surgeries but we did not receive anything. Lastly, Brian did not attend the weigh-in.? But the show must go on and the crowd was pleased as Travis Rosesler and John Doyle fought in a war that ended with a controversial split decision awarded to Doyle.
