The PSL presents X-MISSION, Friday, November 17, 2006, 7PM (PST) Veterans Memorial Auditorium, 4117 Overland Ave., Culver City, Calif. Kid Peligro Ventures his quick pics for the event:RANDY COUTURE vs RONALDO ‘JACARE’ SOUZA – Randy is an extremely gited athlete but his strengths are MMA and Wrestling and he should not be a threat to submit Jacare but can score points. ‘Jacare’ is a force of nature and a dangeous fighter at the top of the submission game. Kudos to Randy for stepping up outside his strength zone but Jacare should take this one by submissionJAKE SHIELDS vs MARCELO GARCIA – Whoa a tough match. Shields placed 3rd in ADCC beating Cameron Earle in the brackets and submitting Leo Santos in the 3rd place match. If memory serves me right, Garcia hasn’t lost in submission Wreslting in over 2 years. Tough call but Garcia by pointsVLADIMIR MATYUSHENKO vs VINICIUS MAGAHLAES – another tough match Matyushenko went the distance with Magalhaes training partner and current World Absolute Champion ‘Xande’ Ribeiro in the first sub X. ‘Pezao’ (Magalhaes) had a tough win over Robert Drysdale by points. The call: Matsyushenko by points (takedown)ALBERTO CRANE vs RANI YAHYRA – A great match up as Crane stepped up late to replace a vacancy and is facing the runner-up in ADCC 2005 U65Kg Yahyra. Crane is game and very good but the lack of preparation and the fact that he is facing Yahyra who is tough to beat in Submission and I predict a win by points by YahyraBILL COOPER vs KRON GRACIE – These two faced each other in Gi match as purple belt and the decision left a lot of people talking. Now they go at it in No-Gi. While Kron tore up the Worlds in BJJ last July in Rio, not many have seen his No-Gi game. Cooper is phenomenal in submission wrestling and comes in with a recent win. Kid’s prediction: A) If it is a tough match decided by the closest of margins winner: Cooper B) If it is a submission win: Kron My call Kron by submissionRAFAEL LOVATO JR vs ROBERT CAMARGO – Lovato is one of the top American fighters and should take this one by pointsJEFF GLOVER vs SHANE RICE – Glover is another of the top American fighters with a distinguished record in both BJJ and Submission Wrestling. Rice is a good fighter but better at BJJ than Submission. Kid’s call: Glover by submissionANDY WANG vs ALLEN ZVBOROSKY – Wang by pointsThat is my call, what’s yours?Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Seminar at Beverly Hills BJJMultiple times BJJ Absolute World Champion and current ADCC World Champion Ronaldo Jacare will be conducting a Gi and No-Gi Seminar at Beverly Hills BJJ.
