Two More Made Official for UFC 59 Reality CheckDuring an interview with ADCC News back on February 6, 2006, (http://news.adcombat.com/article.html?id=10594) Nick Thompson broke the story that he would be facing Karo Parisyan at UFC 59: Reality Check, when the UFC makes it California debut on April 15, 2006, live from the Arrowhead Pond in California. The preliminary bout was made official this week and will give a better picture for who’s ready for a welterweight title shot. Karo was the number one contender and scheduled to fight the champion, Matt Hughes, before he got injured. In other preliminary action, Jason Lambert will be taking on Terry Martin in a battle of light heavyweights. Lambert is 1-0 in the UFC while Martin will be trying to get his first UFC victory after losing by knockout to James Irvin in 2005. Evan Tanner is still with out an official opponent, but according to Tanner himself, it will not be Ivan Salaverry, as heavily rumored. Word out of California is that it will be Ruas Vale Tudo representative, Justin Levens.
