There, Sakurai said, ‘I had a feeling that some day, I would have to face him. I don’t feel that I can lose this fight. I want to pummel on my opponent.’ Chonan, who is currently training under Dan Henderson in the U.S., was absent, but sent his comments via DEEP office, ‘I can finally fight a title bout in my home ring. I have lost two in a row, so I know I am fighting this with my back to the wall.’DEEP President Shigeru Saeki implied his endorsement, ‘This is the best match-up.
