September 2nd, 3rd, 4th 2005Dan Severn once again hosted an incredible MMA Weekend for those looking for a variety of things including: enhancing fighting technique, defensive tactics for law enforcement, to gain exposure for competition.Severn mentioned, ‘When the UFC first began back in 94, you had a bunch of one dimensional athletes and I include myself in this category by being just an amateur wrestler. The evolution of the sport has also led to the evolution of the athlete. This past weekends group is no exception. You had athletes from all walks of martial arts realizing the need to become a well rounded fighter. There were several exceptional athletes that I believe have a very strong future if they desire to pursue. With our next camp in December, we will be adding an extra two hour session to help round out the athlete that much more.”I’ve trained with some true masters in the martial arts world and without a doubt, Dan is the best!! He’s a great person, i’ve learned an amazing amount of usable knowledge, and it was a great experience. >From training with Dan, I’ve realized that a lot of my past training is ineffective. He is the real deal!’ – Dennis NayorBONUS’ TO THESE CAMPSAs an extra perk, all eleven participants stayed on site at Dan Severn’s 10,000 sq. foot training facility in the dorm rooms provided. Not only did the fighters compliment the extensive training, but the meals as well. While staying at this camp, three meals a day are provided. In the off hours of the training, the participants have full use of the facility including the weightlifting room, heavy bag room & both mat rooms for individual training. To the surprise of the participants, Severn was around for 99% of the time throughout the weekend interacting with the fighters.DECEMBER IS YOUR OPPURTUNITYOur next camp will be on December 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
