It is going to be an unusual situation but I?m more than ready to win. My training partners from Brazilian Top Team are helping me a lot. I don?t intend to go easy at the first one thinking of the second one. Because if I do that I might end up the first fight pretty massed up. I will fight against Amar Suloev as if it was the final bout of the night?, says Paulao. The champion of the four-man tournament will be guaranteed to be fighting at the next Pride middleweight Grand Prix. According to Paulao Filho, Dean Lister should be his most difficult opponent on his way to the title. ?I respect Akira Shoji very much but I sincerely believe that Dean Lister will beat him and face me at the tournament final. Because of that I must be well prepared to annul his game and get myself into the GP?, states the BTT athlete.
