Major Upset in the Absolute Worlds 2015

A major upset in the Absolute Black belt as Ricardo Evangelista beats defending Champion Marcus Buchecha by 4-3 advantages. There will be no repeat and no 4th consecutive title for Buchecha. Buchecha injured his knee during the match and had to be treated by medical personnel and may be out of the tournament altogether. At this point Evangelista faces Alexander Trans, while Bernardo Faria awaits Leandro Lo v Keenan Cornelius for the final spot in the semifinals
