Training for ADCC 2013
With ADCC 2013 just over 5 weeks away preparations by all competitors are reaching fever pitch. At Atos San Diego, Andre Galvao, Rafael Mendes, JT Torres and Keenan Cornelius have been hitting the mats, weights and track and everything else in their training regimen. Recently the Atos gang was joined by ADCC U99KG Champion Dean Lister. According to Andre, Dean is in top shape and for everyone to look out for him at the event.
Meanwhile current World BJJ weight and Absolute Champion Marcus "Buchecha" preparation with Checkmat teammates Lucas Leite, Joao Assis and Leo Vieira has been intense. Recently "Buchecha" was joined by current UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez in training. Needless to say that was some training session.
Top BJJ and ADCC lady Gabi Garcia will be going to New York City to Marcelo Garcia's academy for the final weeks of her preparation along with other Alliance tops
