Alliance Team is holding their final team camp for the Pan 2013. Top dogs from all Alliance academies are there in their final preparation for the big push to win yet another major team title. Alliance leader Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti heads the camp and is dedicating it to his friend the late Jim Mc Pherson:"Alliance Eagle watching everybody train tonight at Alliance HQ. Mr Jim's picture on the far left corner too, we will never forget this great warrior that left us last month, rest in piece old friend."
Look for an emotional and fired up Alliance team in this event (as if they needed any extra incentive!)
Gracie Barra brings out the guns
Showing that they mean business, Gracie Barra team brought the great competition coach Professor Ze "Radiola" to lead their tops for the Pan. Check out this video of "Radiola" giving Flavio Almeida some "extra" encouragement:

Checkmat BJJ on fire
The tops at Checkmat BJJ are not resting on their laurels either. Pan & World weight and Absolute champion Marcus "Buchecha" Almeida is logging in frequent training miles with teammates and instructors Ricardo "Pantcho" Feliciano, Lucas Leite and other competitors. "Buchecha" is one of the most exciting competitors on the mats today and he will have a bull's eye on his back for sure as everyone will be gunning to dethrone the champion.
Atos Team pulls out all the stops
Atos team is on a training tear lately and they are pulling all the stops and bringing reinforcements from all corners to make a huge push for the Pan. Recently added tops JT Torres and Keenan Cornelius joined an all star Atos cast comprised of Andre Galvao, Rafa and Gui Mendes, Guto Campos, Tracey Goodell, Angelica Galvao and many others. The team has been training JJ at both Atos San Diego and Art of Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Newport Beach and doing conditioning sessions that resemble a war camp!
