Jiu-Jitsu Worlds League wants to make sure everyone understands that the league is not just for Black Belts, events will have ALL BELTS from White to Black. The object of the League is to make Jiu-Jitsu more exciting for everyone. With that in mind rules and referees are directed towards action. Stalling will be punished with ( -2 ) points right away with "no warning" plus the third stalling call will disqualify the offender. Additionally all semifinals and finals will have to have a winner so overtime will be enforced in those matches.
The League also has incentives to Academies to encourage their students to compete: "Academies will get a $20.00 bonus for every one of their students that signs up 20 days prior to the event. The event on January 17, 2015 to be held at the Bren Center in UC Irvine early sign up deadline is then December 27, 2014.
Competitors also have an incentive to sign up early as everyone signing up prior to December 15, 2014 for that event receives a Rash Guard!
