PANCRASE 286 – 04/23/2017: 2010 Shooto Rookie Of The Year Inoue takes on Hayashi

Yusaku Inoue (top)

The lightweight bout between Genpei Hayashi and Yusaku Inoue was added to Pancrase 286.

This is going to be first Pancrase appearance for Inoue.

Inoue is a 28-year old with the pro MMA record of 9-2.

Back in 2010, he defeated Yuki Okano and Ryuichirou Sumimura to capture Shooto’s rookie of the year.

But after losing to Yusaku Tsukumo via majority decision in 2013 Inoue stepped out of the MMA.

He came back in 2015 and fought in Ganryujima but this upcoming fight against Hayashi is going to be first MMA fight in almost three and half years.

Inoue’s opponent, Hayashi, is a 27-year with pro MMA record of 8-4-1.

He was supposed to fight Joao Batista Yoshimura in Pancrase 283 but the Brazilian came in 10 kg over the contract weight so the fight got cancelled.
