PANCRASE 270 – 10/04/2015: Robinson faces Ishikawa

In his first lightweight bout, Eiji Ishikawa (right) defeated a Strikeforce / DREAM veteran Daisuke NakamuraDominique Robinson's opponent is confirmed.

Last Friday, Pancrase revealed that Eiji Ishikawa will be taking on Bass Rutten's student.

Ishikawa is a veteran with 51 pro MMA fights on his resume. Recently, he went down to 155 lbs and scored a good win over former DEEP lightweight champ / Strikeforce veteran Daisuke Nakamura in April. However he was submitted by Keigo Hirayama in August. Robinson is 33 and Ishikawa is 35. Its the battle between two veterans that needs another goal and motivation to go on, and perhaps that can be the King of Pancrase title held by Satoru Kitaoka.

Also, last week, Pancrase confirmed Collen Schneider will take on Bryanna Fissori so the only one left on the card without an opponent is now Victory Henry.

Finally, start time of Pancrase 270 is now moved to 3 pm so the doors will be opened at 2 pm.
