Australia’s Nadia Kassem (4-0) will make her octagon debut against fellow Aussie strawweight Alex Chambers (5-3) when the promotion returns to Sydney in November with UFC Fight Night 121. UFC officials recently announced the news.

UFC Fight Night 121 will be held Nov. 9 from Qudos Bank Arena and will air live on FS1. A heavyweight bout between Mark Hunt and Marcin Tybura is expected to headline the card.

Kassem is a 21-year-old prospect who trains out of Australian Top Team. She has been competing exclusively on the Australian regional circuit thus far and has finished all four of her pro fights via first-round knockout.

Kassem last fought in February when she knocked out Jasita Yotawan at a JNI Promotions event. She was originally supposed to make her UFC debut this past June in Auckland but an injury suffered in training forced her to withdraw.

Chambers was a competitor on The Ultimate Fighter season 20 and fought as an atomweight under the Invicta FC banner. “Astro Girl” hasn’t fought since Sept. 2015 when she was submitted by Paige VanZant at UFC 191.

Prior to that Chambers had a “Performance of the Night” armbar submission win over Kailin Curran in May 2015. Now 1-2 inside the octagon, the 38-year-old New South Wales native has finished two of her five career victories via knockout and two by submission.
