A women’s strawweight matchup between Felice Herrig (13-6) and Cortney Casey (7-4) has been booked for UFC 218 in December. Herrig announced the matchup Friday on social media.
UFC 218 will be held Dec. 2 from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. No other bouts have yet been confirmed for the event.

Casey is currently ranked No. 12 in the strawweight division and is coming off a unanimous decision win over former title challenger Jessica Aguilar at UFC 211 in May. In her fight before that Casey dropped a decision to Claudia Gadelha last November.
The 30-year-old BJJ brown belt also holds a submission win over Randa Markos and a TKO over Cristina Stanciu inside the octagon. Now 3-3 in her UFC tenure, Casey has finished three of her seven career wins via knockout and three by submission.
