Xtreme Fighting Championships Announces New CEO for U.S. and International Divisions
TAMPA, FLORIDA (February 20, 2014) – Xtreme Fighting Championships (“XFC”) today announces it has named Edward Jung the new Chief Executive Officer to lead the growth of both the US and International divisions. Edward Jung created the vision and executed the expansion of XFC’s business model in Brazil and throughout Latin America. Mr. Jung and his executive team were responsible for securing the long-term partnership agreement with REDE TV (Brazil), as well as the Spanish live transmission throughout Latin America with ESPN for XFCi 1.
As part of Mr. Jung’s new XFC corporate structure: Edward Jung, Chief Executive Officer, will oversee all of XFC US, Canada and XFC International business including strategic partnership and business development in North America and Worldwide. John Prisco as President of XFC United States, Myron Molotky as President of XFC International, and James Morrell, Chief Operating Officer.
Commenting on the continued success of XFC domestically and the growth of the International division, Mr. Jung said, “The success that XFC has achieved over the last 8 years is remarkable, and we will continue to build on this success in both the US and the International markets”. Mr. Jung added “Together, with the executive staff in the US and XFC International, we are committed to take the companies to the next level as we introduce the globalization of XFC.”
XFC has set a schedule for hosting two seasons of live events in Brazil on Rede TV throughout this year and is preparing to host live events in the United States to be broadcast nationally. The initial focus of MMA promotions for the balance of 2014 will be in the U.S. and Latin America with an eye toward expanding further in 2015 throughout all regions of Latin America, Europe and Asia.
