Multiple media outlets have reported that the UFC has signed former Titan FC champion Desmond Green. He will make his promotional debut against Josh Emmett in a lightweight contest at UFC 210. The event takes place April 8 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
Green is currently riding a four-fight winning streak with his last two victories coming under the Titan FC banner. He won the promotion’s featherweight championship in 2014 after defeating UFC veteran Steven Siler. During his career, he has also defeated Bellator veteran Mike Richman and former WEC champion Miguel Torres.
Emmett signed with the UFC in 2016 as an undefeated prospect. He has continued those winning ways inside the Octagon. In his debut, he took a split-decision victory over Jon Tuck. Emmett then returned against Scott Holtzman and scored another decision win.
In the main event of UFC 210, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will put his title on the line against Anthony Johnson. The two squared off for the vacant title at UFC 192 with Cormier winning via third-round submission.
