The UFC has announced a women’s strawweight bout featuring a pair of castmates from the 20th season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” Felice Herrig will take on Justine Kish at UFC Fight Night 112, which takes place June 25 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
Herrig joined the UFC following the reality show and has gone 3-1 in the promotion. After falling to Paige VanZant at UFC on Fox 15, she has bounced back with back-to-back wins over Kaitlin Curran and Alexa Grasso. Herrig also holds victories over Heather Jo Clark, Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc and Jessica Rakoczy.
Kish never competed on the show due to a knee injury. However, she eventually signed with the promotion anyway and made her UFC debut last year. So far in the Octagon, she has gone undefeated with decision victories over Nina Ansaroff and Ashley Yoder. Prior to joining the UFC, Kish scored a victory over another castmate, Randa Markos at Resurrection Fighting Alliance 12.
The main event of UFC Fight Night 112 is currently unknown. However, the promotion also recently announced a middleweight bout featuring former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks taking on Tim Boetsch.
