The UFC has announced a heavyweight contest for their upcoming show in Belem, Brazil. Timothy Johnson is set to take on Luis Henrique at UFC Fight Night 125, which takes place Feb. 3 at the Arena Guilherme Paraense.
Johnson has alternated wins and losses since joining the UFC in 2015, and he will be looking to get back on track after losing his last fight. He fell in the first round against Junior Albini on the preliminary card of UFC on Fox 25. During his UFC run, Johnson has scored wins over Shamil Abdurahimov, Marcin Tybura and Daniel Omielanczuk.
Henrique is also looking to turn things around after dropping back-to-back fights. He fell via knockout against Tybura at UFC 209 and dropped a decision against Arjan Bhullar at UFC 215. He joined the UFC in 2015 and holds a pair of wins in the Octagon over Dmitry Smolyakov and Christian Colombo.
This part will be part of the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night 125. On the main card, Thiago Santos will take on Anthony Smith in a middleweight fight.
