A welterweight matchup between Darren Till (14-0-1) and Bojan Velickovic (15-4-1) has been added to next month’s UFC Fight Night 115 card. UFC officials recently announced the bout.
UFC Fight Night 115 will be held Sept. 2 from Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands. A heavyweight bout between Alexander Volkov and Stefan Struve is expected to headline the card.
Till remains unbeaten in his pro MMA career and is currently 2-0-1 inside the octagon. The 24-year-old Brit made a successful octagon debut in May 2015 with a knockout win over Wendell de Oliveira Marques. Five months later he fought to a Draw against Nicolas Dalby and earned “Fight of the Night” honors. A shoulder injury sidelined Till for over a year. He finally returned to action in May of this year when he won a unanimous decision over Jessin Ayari at UFC Fight Night 109. Till has finished nine of his 14 career wins via knockout and two by submission.
Velickovic is coming off a “Performance of the Night” knockout win over Nico Musoke at UFC Fight Night 109 in May. Prior to that he had dropped a split decision to Sultan Aliev last December, and fought to a Draw with Michael Graves last Summer. The 28-year-old Serbian originally made his UFC debut at middleweight with a unanimous decision win over Alessio Di Chirico in April 2016. He has finished eight of his 15 career wins via submission and four via knockout.
