Women's prospects debut in ROAD as China's Yan Xiaonan meets Korea's Nam Ye-Hyun

2 November, 2015 – ROAD Fighting Championship will make an historic global expansion into China with ROAD FC 027 in Shanghai on 26 December, 2015.  The event will take place in the 18,000-capacity Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, a premier facility built in 2008 to showcase international sporting events.

ROAD FC has been proud to introduce female fighters to international MMA, and ROAD FC 027 will continue to surprise.  China's stand out fighter Yan Xiaonan (26, Xi'an Sports University) has been signed to ROAD FC and will make her debut in Shanghai, China.  Yan is a powerful product of China's Xi'an University, where she graduated in 2014.  She has medalled in China's National Sanda Tournament, won in National Muay Thai competition, and racked up a record of 6-1 in MMA.

Rising to the challenge and making her professional MMA debut will be Korea's Nam Ye-Hyun (17, Cheon Mu Gwan Gym).  Nam has garnered a stiff education of her own from a young age, as her father is the head coach of her gym.  Cheon Mu has recently produced her teammate and MMA prodigy, the 19-year old Choi Mu-Song.  Nam became a Taekwondo champion in middle school, has won in BJJ competition, and has an amateur MMA record of 1-0 in ROAD FC Central League.

Expect to be surprised with the amount of power and ferocity that tough strikers Yan Xiaonan and Nam Ye-Hyun will bring into the cage on fight night!

As previously announced, K-1 wrecking machine and Bellator veteran "Mighty Mo" Siala-Mou Siliga and Korea's home-grown K-1 veteran Myung Hyun-Man will meet in a clash of two verified striking supermen.

Also, China's top lightweight Zhang Lipeng will debut with ROAD FC against Korean Taekwondo master Hong Young-Ki in an action-packed style-versus-style match up.

Plus, China's Sanda legend Zhao Zilong will face Japanese legend Ikuhisa Minowa in a match with global appeal and historical significance.

And in a massive Openweight bout, China's 140kg prodigy Aorigele and Crying Fist brawler Kim Jae-Hun are sure to show off the excitement of Asia's new breed of monster fighters!
