ROAD FC 024 in JAPAN – Tickets now on sale

Tickets are now on sale for ROAD FC 024 in JAPAN on 25 July, 2015 at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo.

12 June, 2015 – ROAD Fighting Championship will launch its global expansion by holding its first-ever overseas event in Tokyo, Japan on 25 July, 2015.  ROAD FC 024 will take place at the 10,000-seat Ariake Coliseum, the 2020 Summer Olympics venue for tennis.  Ticket sales are now open to the public for this mega-event.

Ahead of the ticket opening announcement, ROAD FC CEO Jung Moon-Hong visited the Japan National Assembly and was met by legendary Japanese fighting figure and incumbent Congressman Antonio Inoki, the founder of Inoki Genome Federation.   Representing ROAD FC from South Korea, Mr Jung together with Congressman Inoki met with eleven Senators and Congressmen.  After a long and meaningful meeting, Congressman Inoki presented Mr Jung with his signature traditional red scarf.

Congressman Inoki stated:

"During this fiftieth year anniversary of diplomatic relations between our countries, let us work together to raise fighting sports to a higher level.  I will support ROAD FC however I am able."

Mr Jung stated:

"Between our countries there is a noble sentiment and ROAD FC fighting sports will grow stronger because of Congressman Inoki's support."

At ROAD FC 024 in Japan, the Middleweight Title Match will be contested for by celebrated Japanese fighter Riki Fukuda in his own country, against a tough Korean prospect Jeon Uh-Jin.

"The Legendary Trio" of Korea's famous Mixed Martial Artists will appear on ROAD FC 024, and they will meet their Japanese counterparts in thrilling battles.  "Techno Goliath" Choi Hong-Man will take on brutal striker Carlos Toyota. Judoka Yoon Dong-Sik will finally face fellow PRIDE veteran Takase Daiju.  "Heavy Tank from Busan" Choi Mu-Bae goes against the first DEEP Megaton Champion "Crusher" Kawaguchi Yusuke.

World-famous Ikuhisa "Minowaman" will face Muay Thai Champion Kim Dae-Sung in what promises to be a very fast and exciting match!  In a clash of two of Asia's top bantamweights, Korea's Kim Soo-Chul will face Japan's stand out veteran Nakahara Taiyo.   A special women's bout will feature Japan's MMA queen Shinashi Satoko who will face Korea's rising star Park Ji-Hye.  In the ROAD FC 024 opening match, sharp newcomer Kim Seung-Yeon will test himself against Japan's brutal striker Ohara Juri, and sparks will fly!
