PANCRASE 271 – 11/1/2015: Sunabe and Abe fighting for Inaugural Pancrase Light-Flyweight Title

Hiroyuki Abe (left) and Mitsuhisa Sunabe (right) at the signing ceremony held at Pancrase office in Tokyo on the 18th of this monthOn this weekend, at Differ Ariake in Tokyo, Mitsuhisa Sunabe and Hiroyuki Abe are going to fight for an inaugural light-flyweight King of Pancrase title.

These two met back in December 2011 and that was for a very first flyweight King of Pancrase title.

Sunabe won this fight via a three-round TKO, and, the founder of team OKINAWA CROSS & LINE defended this belt twice, then relinquished the belt to set his sight on this light-flyweight title. If he wins, this is going to be the third "inaugural" title in his career.

Basically, Sunabe is the champ that is going for a title at lighter weight class.

On the other end, Abe had to win a four-man tournament to get this opportunity.
For a 38-year old veteran, this maybe the last chance get the title and also, to beat Sunabe.

At the signing ceremony held at Pancrase office in Tokyo, Abe sounded very determined, "Its been 25 years since I started judo. I am preparing for this fight as grand sum of my career."

Sunabe sounded very confident, "I am looking for KO or ippon. That's all I am thinking right now."
