On Tuesday, Yojiro Uchimura held a media work out at Wajiutsu Keishukai HEARTS dojo.
He is going to face Guy Delumeau in the headliner of Pancrase 248.
Uchimura hit pads for couple rounds and shared his thoughts with the reporters, "Ever since I had my first child, I feel I just couldn't afford to lose anymore". He believes that is one of the reasons why he is currently on a five-fight winning streak. Also, Uchimura feels, "I train at various places now, like HEARTS, TRIVE TOKYO MMA, KRAZY BEE, and boxing gyms, so these training environments are making me a better fighter."
In regards to his opponent, Uchimura said, "He is a strong grappler".
Then added, "That is why I am preparing to do well on the ground too. Also, he is persistent and powerful" but sounds like Uchimura is looking to finish Delumeau, "I am not thinking about decision. I have to finish him otherwise it makes no sense, is how I feel".
