Odoms to make first defense of W title against Hughes at LFA 26

Richard Odoms

Richard Odoms’ first defense of the Legacy Fighting Alliance heavyweight title comes this weekend as he takes one Jeff Hughes.  LFA 26 takes place November 3rd at the Houston Arena Theatre in Houston, TX with a main card broadcast on AXS TV.

In LFA’s brief history Richard Odoms fought twice earning victories over William Hoffman in Marc then Jared Vanderaa for the inaugural belt in June.  Odoms currently holds a record of 13-3 but the downside is he is 42 years old, unlikely to last much longer in this sport. Jeff Hughes is less experienced at 7-1 but has a youth advantage being “just” 29 years old.  Hughes makes his LFA debut coming off a win over Ryan Pokryfky in June.

Bilal Williams

Fan favorites Bilal Williams and Larry Crowe clash in the co-main event.  Williams enters this bout 8-4 coming off a KO loss to Geoffrey Neal in July, Crowe stands 9-6 with his last fight in October 2015 being a TKO loss to Trevin Giles.  Although neither fighter is likely to be a contender anytime soon both are known as exciting fighters that should please the fans.
