When the UFC’s Octagon moves to Sweden next month, Stockholm Nico Musoke will return to action. The promotion has announced that he will face Bojan Velickovic at UFC Fight Night 109, which takes place May 28 at the Ericsson Globe arena in Stockholm.
Musoke has been fighting exclusively with the UFC since signing with the promotion in 2013. He won his first two bouts for the promotion over Alessio Sakara and Viscardi Andrade. Since defeating Andrade in 2014, Musoke has gone 1-2 with a victory over Alexander Yakovlev and losses against Albert Tumenov and Kelvin Gastelum.
Velickovic earned a shot in the UFC after winning four-straight bouts under the Resurrection Fighting Alliance banner. In his UFC debut last year, he scored a decision victory over Alessio Di Chirico. Since then, Velickovic drew with Michael Graves and lost to Sultan Aliev.
In the main event of UFC Fight Night 109, former light heavyweight title challengers Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira will fight.
