The UFC cut ties with Blackburn, Emerson and Camoes

According to a report by MMAJunkie the UFC has released three more fightersfrom their contracts. The fighters are Rob Emerson, Brad Blackburn and FabricioCamoes. All three fighters are currently coming off losses.

Emerson dropped a unanimous decision to Nik Lentz on the undercard of UFC FightNight 21. That bout was his seventh-straight bout in the Octagon. The lossdropped his overall MMA record to 9-9, and his UFC record fell to 3-3 with 1 nocontest.

Blackburn made his UFC debut after a successful run in the IFL. At UFC FightNight 14 he easily dispatched James Giboo, and followed that performance upwith back-to-back victories. At UFC Fight Night 20 his momentum Amir Sadollahstopped him momentum with a unanimous decision victory. DaMarques Johnson alsostopped Blackburn at UFC 112.

Camoes has been released after only two fights under the UFC banner. In hisdebut fight, he fought to a draw with veteran Caol Uno. At UFC 111, KurtPellegrino came back to submit Camoes late in the second round. Prior to comingto the promotion, Camoes had put together a seven-fight win streak.
